Access the Dales offers hubs across North Yorkshire and Lancashire, giving people the opportunity to borrow a range of all-terrain wheelchairs from different locations and explore the countryside with greater freedom thus enabling individuals with mobility challenges to enjoy nature in places that might otherwise be out of reach.
In addition to hubs, Access the Dales also provides activities for disabled people living in hard-to-reach communities, helping to promote inclusion, wellbeing, and connection with the outdoors. Guided by the motto, “Making the inaccessible accessible,” Access the Dales are committed to opening up the natural landscape for everyone.
