Lake District National Park

The Lake District National Park Authority is responsible for protecting and enhancing the Lake District and for ensuring that it’s a place that everyone can enjoy on their own terms.  Accessibility is a critical part of this mission and we’re delighted to sponsor the Accessible Adventure Zone at the Keswick Mountain Festival.

We have more than 50 accessible routes across the Lake District, called ‘Miles without Stiles’. Stretching alongside lake shores, riversides, tarns, woodlands, historic remains and even fell summits, they offer amazing views and a way for all abilities to enjoy the spectacular Lake District National Park.
