On a visit to Brecon Beacons I was captivated by seeing on a hilltop a white painted trig with a red dragon painted on one side. The visitor centre didn’t have a suitable souvenir, so I made my own.
The models are cast from high strength plaster and then individually hand painted to give either a plain white finish, a weathered bare concrete appearance or a stone built effect.
They have a clear matt acrylic finish.
These have proved very popular with trigbaggers and fell running clubs.The white trigs can be personalised with images and text.
The model trigs also have a spider on top and a flush bracket on one side.
A few running clubs have incorporated the models into an event award.
