With only 20 finishers in 35 years, the race demands five brutal 20-mile loops, 20,000m of ascent, and a 60-hour limit. Jasmin crossed the line with just 99 seconds to spare, cementing her place in ultrarunning legend.

Sara Barnes
Sunday 10:30 – 11:30am
From struggling to walk across a carpark after major leg surgery to immersing myself in the wild waters of the Lake District, swimming became my lifeline. I’ve swum in lakes, tarns, rivers, and waterfalls, reclaiming my body, spirit, and sense of adventure. At 60, I swam with 60 different people in 60 locations, celebrating life and defying ageing. Now 63, dodgy knees and a repaired heart valve haven’t slowed me—I’m still chasing wild waters, inspiring others to dive in, and proving it’s never too late to reconnect with nature, adventure, and yourself.

Through the Maclean Foundation, they raised over £1 million to bring clean water to 40,000 people in Madagascar.
